Business Week publishes an article to comment on Beijing Auto’s failure to acquire Opel. Beijing Auto has been rumored to have an interest to take a stake in Opel for a while. However recently it seems that the deal is losing its momentum. According to Business Week, it is lucky of Beijing Auto not to take any further steps in the talks with Opel as there are too many unsuccessful M&A happened in the history of auto industry. Instead, Beijing Auto should focus more on the smaller scale M&As.
