Global Times Beijing: China government is going to issue 6 billion Yuan worth of Treasury Bond in Hong Kong. This is the first time in history that China government issues Yuan Dominated T-Bond outside mainland China. Such an issuance has far stretching impact. It strengthens the position of HK as the offshore hub for RMB Business, it also promotes RMB’s internationalization progress, and it provides additional capital for Chinese government to continue to boost the domestic economy.

环球时报报道，中国政府将在香港发行价值60亿人民币的债券。这是中国第一次在大陆地区以外发行人民币债券。这次人民币债券的发行标志着香港作为人民币离岸业务中心地位的确立。同时这也是中央政府为了推行人民币国际化的努力之一。
