China Tells

China’s top rich people more than doubled their wealth during the financial crisis, a sharp contrast compared to what happened in the West (See article from Chinadaily). According to the latest estimate, Wang Chuanfu continues to top the China Rich list, with a net worth of about 5.8 Billion USD (See Article HERE). The rest in the list include Zong Qinghou, Yang huiyan, and Lu Xiangyang. Most of the top ten richie involve in property or minin. The gap between rich and poor in China has a tendency to worsen in the last decade. While every one of the top ten is worth more than 3 Billion USD, there are still more than 100 million people who earn less than $2 a day (See graph HERE). The ever increasing imbalance between rich and poor, power and weak is likely to be one of the potential unstable factor in the country.
