China Tells

China’s Retail Sales increased by 16.6% y-o-y in Sept, amounting to 1091 Billion RMB, which is the highest in the last 12 months. China’s Retail Sales had some sort of hit in Q1 ’09, during when it grew mildly compared to that of last year. Thanks to the government’s stimulus program, the Retail Sale picked up starting from Q2. The sept Sale is quite encouraging and shows a potential sign of economic recovery. China’s GDP grew 8.9% in Q3, which is consistent with the growth in Retail Sale.

中国零售销售在九月份达到1万亿人民币，同比增长16%，显示经济复苏态势强劲。中国的零售销售在第一季度受到一定影响，连续三个月增长缓慢。在政府推出一系列刺激措施之后，零售销售明显受到强心剂般的刺激，更在9月份创下佳绩。如果如大家预期第四季度国民生产总值增长超过10%，那么零售销售很有可能保持旺盛的增长劲头。
