China Tells

Once upon a time, America has been the world standard for innovation, quality and superiority. Coca Cola and McDonald become the world popular brand and American movies flood over world’s cinemas. China is no exception. From corporate governance to fashione, from economic theory to language and culture, America has been the model for China to learn from. Such a trend, however, has been challenged, or at least the gap between the teacher and the student has been narrowed. Thanks to its rich history which can be traced back for 5000 years, China and its unique merit has been on the learning list of Americans (See Article from Time). It seems that the most striking qualities that Americans could learn from China are: 1. Be Ambitious; 2. Emphasis on education; 3. Respect for the elderly; 4. To get rich one need to save first; 5. Look at the big picture.

老美曾经在多方面是世界学习的榜样,中国也不例外.从公司治理到经济理论,从街边快餐到电影音乐,老美都可以称得上中国的老师.但是风水轮流转,现在在美国也有一股学习中国的浪潮.在老美看来,中国人的一些秉性,比如吃得苦中苦方为人上人,棍棒之下出孝子,千穷万穷不能穷了孩子教育,勤俭才能致富等等都值得他们仔细研究加以学习.
