China’s Retail sales were up by 15.8% y-o-y and reached 1.13 trillion yuan in November, 2009 (See Article from China Daily). It is 0.4% lower than the growth in October and in absolute amount lower by 40 billion Yuan. However, the sale is still the second largest in the last 12 months. Overall the reading of such figure is still quite positive – also it is encouraging as one of the top priority on China governments’ to-do-list is to boost domestic consumption.
