It seems that there is a property mania developing in Shanghai, the biggest city in China (See Article from China Daily). The potential buyers Q up in long lines and pour all the cash they save for life to get a small cage at the outskirt of the city. The price of some apartments has gone up 40% to 50% in the last six month, which is pretty unexpected in a macro environment of global economy slowdown. On the other hand, the developers are laughing to the bank and play their games comfortably by telling television interview that ‘We are not in a hurry to sell’. Come on, please, every dog has its day! Anyway if you are short on property in Shanghai, it means you are screwed, at least for now.
