The property price in the first tier cities of China has increased at an agressive pace in Q4 of 09, lead by the housing price in Beijing (See Graph from Chinatells). Similar market trend has been observed in Shanghai as well, but less severely. According to the latest estimate, there has been mild correction of housing price in November in Shanghai, dropping from a high of RMB 14,000/SQM to an average of about RMB 12,000/SQM. Transacted volume also came down mildly during the same period. Such a correction, however, is more seen as a temporary break before going to new highs.

上海房价在11月份有所微调,从最高点一平方1万4千人民币微跌至1万2千人民币左右。这种弱跌势和北京房价的直线上升形成一定对比。但是从12月份的房价发展来看,似乎该跌势只是暂时的停顿,从后市来看上海房价极有可能继续冲击年度新高。
