China’s PPI in January increased by 4.3% y-o-y, which for the first time crossed over the CPI increase in the same month (1.5%). China’s CPI and PPI have turned positive since Dec 09. A central them to be watched in 2010 is the potential possibility of inflation given the government’s quantitative ease in ’09.

中国生产者物价指数在2010年1月同比增长4.3%,首次在同月增长超过消费者物价指数。两个指数从09年12月份开始正增长。目前看来10年通胀的可能性要大于通缩。
