China’s CPI in Feb went up 2.7% y-o-y, according to the latest release from Bureau of Statistics (See Article from Xinhuanet). CPI is a gauge of inflation commonly used by most countries. Since Nov 09, China’s CPI has turned positive and started to creep up ever since. At the same time, PPI was up 5.4% in Feb, a new high since Nov 08.
