China Tells

In our survey titled ‘Secrets of China’s growth’, we asked the question ‘What do you think is the biggest challenge for China’s economic growth?’. Among the well diversified answers, we spot the following findings: Most people think that the inequality in terms of income is the biggest challenge for China’s future economic growth (14%). The concerns to follow are ‘Pollution (13%)’, ‘Corruption (13%)’, ‘Geographic imbalance (12%)’. The other concerns include ‘over large population’, ‘lack of investment in education and technology’, ‘low efficiency of SOE’ and ‘too much interference from the government’. No one seems to be bothered by the challenge from competitors such as Brazil and India.
