Two cities in Hainan Province of China lead the property boom in 2009 across the nation. The housing price in Haikou and Sanya went up around 60% y-o-y in 2009, topping the country’s property price increment league. To follow is Guangzhou (20%) and Beijing (19%). Shanghai’s housing price went up around 12%, which is comparatively small.
