China Tells

China’s copper import in May continues to slow down after the country posted a high in March. Overall the import of copper in the first half of 2010 is almost at the similar pace of that in 2009, but much higher than that of 2008. With the central governments’ tightening measure in the property sector continuing, it seems that the copper import should continue to slow down.

中国5月份原铜进口继续减缓，比3月份和4月份都有所下降。10年到5月份为止原铜进口量基本和09年持平，但是要比08年高出很多。目前看来中央政府调控房地产行业的决心不变，可能还会持续一段时间，因此原铜进口量应该还会继续放缓。
