China Property companies’ share valuation is at the lower end compared to historical records. Since 2003, China’s property stocks have been trading at a multiple between 9X and 60X. The multiple collapsed in end 2008/early 2009 to touch a low in the last 10 years, and has recovered mildly since. From a long term perspective, there might be some value in the property stock of Chinese equity market.
